New: achievement resets are now supported — handy for speedruns. Previously, if you reset your achievements (from the Steam console, for instance), the overlay stayed stuck on your old progress and never announced those achievements again. A new "Reset progress" button on each tracker (Dashboard → Trackers) fixes that, and with the Companion app, achievements re-locked on Steam are even picked up automatically.
New: a dedicated OBS source for your profile stats. The score, trophies, games played and games at 100% block now has its own browser source link, so you can place it anywhere in your scene. On PlayStation, the trophy breakdown (platinum, gold, silver, bronze) can now be turned on by itself, without also enabling the total.
New: StreamTrackr speaks your stream's language. Twitch chat command replies (!recap, !last, !session), the goal-reached announcement in chat and Discord messages (session start and end, milestones, goals) were in French or English whatever your audience. They now follow your overlay's language.
New: Icon Grid template — a "Fixed rows" layout turns the grid into a horizontal strip, with as many rows as you like.
Translations: some text stayed in French or English whatever language you picked — exported session images (rarity, default titles, share text), PSN trophy tiers, dates, the stats page, the simulated unlock preview in the editor. It's now translated into all 8 languages.
Editor: an emptied section title is no longer gone for good. If you cleared the title above your latest achievements or tracked goals, there was nothing left to click to get it back. It now shows as a dashed placeholder in the preview, and can also be edited straight from the section's panel.
Tracked achievements: drag and drop to reorder them works again. Dropping an achievement could do nothing or move a different one, especially during a search — and sorting the list with a search active could silently unpin the achievements hidden by the filter.
Game auto-detect: the overlay background could turn almost black. Every save in the editor, or every live game change, wiped the game's image, and on Steam the overlay fell back to a dark backdrop. The image is now kept.
No more bursts of old achievements announced all at once. When PlayStation, Xbox or Steam misbehaved for a few seconds, the overlay could believe you had unlocked nothing, then re-announce your whole list in chat — clips and markers included — for achievements earned weeks ago. StreamTrackr updates could trigger the same thing. Each achievement is now announced only once.
Two trackers on the same account and game (a compact overlay and a detailed one, for instance) announced every achievement twice in chat. Only one announcement goes out now.
PSN: your account's trophy count didn't move during the stream. After a platinum, the total could stay on the old number for hours. It now updates live.
Steam: if your personal API key was revoked, your tracker stopped without explanation. It now keeps running, and a warning asks you to replace the key. Icons for some games and achievements that no longer loaded are showing again, too.
Discord: "Tracking Started" is no longer sent mid-session every time StreamTrackr updates, and messages show your Steam name instead of a long string of digits.
OBS sources: overlays drop out far less often. With scene changes or nested scenes, a source could lose its connection, freeze and miss your achievements. Those earned during a short dropout are now announced when it comes back, and a brief outage on our side no longer leaves an error screen until you reload the source by hand.
Billing: a subscriber whose renewal failed can once again manage or cancel their subscription from their account.
v2.8.02026-07-29
New: your account stats, right in the overlay. Score, achievements earned, games played and games at 100% now show up on RetroAchievements, PlayStation and Xbox — the score takes each platform's own form: gamerscore on Xbox, trophy level on PSN, points on RetroAchievements. Your existing PlayStation settings carry over automatically. When a platform won't share a figure — an Xbox account with a private game history, for instance — the slot stays empty instead of showing a misleading zero.
Xbox 360: your games showed 0%. A game you had fully completed could come back with every achievement locked — right list, right names, no progress at all. The overlay running in OBS wasn't affected; the editor was. Fixed.
Xbox 360: missing achievement artwork. On many 360 titles the achievement icon failed to load and left the browser's broken-image thumbnail sitting in your overlay. Icons now load properly, and if a platform genuinely has no artwork, a neutral tile takes its place — no more broken icon on stream.
Twitch chat commands: !progress answered about the wrong game. With several trackers running, it could name a game you had left hours earlier, or pair one game's title with another's counters. It now answers about your current session, with the numbers that go with it.
The chat bot could go silent. Its chat subscription could expire on Twitch's side without any warning: commands stopped answering until the next restart. It is now checked regularly and restored automatically.
Headline template: the status badge is finally customisable. Font, size and colour settings for the small badge (“IN PROGRESS”, “COMPLETED”) had no effect. They now apply.
v2.7.22026-07-24
Editor / Classic layout: you can now style the “Next achievements to unlock” text and image independently from your latest earned achievements. Clicking that block used to only adjust the latest ones (and hovering highlighted both at once) — each section now has its own settings.
OBS sources: the dedicated browser source for “Next achievements to unlock” finally shows your tracked goals — it could stay empty or only mirror your latest achievements. The block also renders more cleanly, without a stray date line.
v2.7.12026-07-21
Visibility fixed: with the “Hidden by default” and “On each unlock” modes, some custom templates stayed invisible when an achievement popped, and switching to “Always visible” only took effect after a reload. Your tracker now shows up at the right moment, whatever template you use.
The game name no longer disappears from your tracker after a game change or when OBS reloads your scene.
The PSN options released with 2.7.0 — game Platinum progress and Platinum weighting in the percentage — are now correctly applied to overlays already running in OBS.
PSN: the weighted percentage now follows Sony's own scale — a Gold trophy counts 6× a Bronze (instead of 4×). Your displayed progress is more accurate on Gold-heavy games.
Subscriptions: switching from monthly to yearly is now taken into account immediately (plan shown, billing, affiliate commissions), and a few rare free-trial and duplicate-subscription cases have been fixed.
New: a public press kit page with logos, icons, screenshots and ready-to-use Discord and Twitch banners — handy if you feature StreamTrackr in a video, an article or on social media.
v2.7.02026-06-27
New: an interactive guided tour of the editor! The “Discover the tool” button walks you through the settings, with tips tailored to your platform (Steam, PSN, Xbox, RetroAchievements).
PSN: choose whether the Platinum trophy counts toward your progress percentage — you decide how your % is calculated.
PSN: show a game's Platinum progress right on your tracker.
v2.6.12026-06-21
Xbox 360 games now display their achievements correctly — names, icons, unlock dates and real progress. Retro titles like Black Ops, Fallout: New Vegas or Borderlands used to be stuck at 0%; they now track just like modern Xbox games.
Faster, lighter game loading: selecting a game no longer sends duplicate requests, so your tracker updates more quickly across every platform (Steam, PSN, Xbox, RetroAchievements).
v2.6.02026-06-14
A brand-new icon grid layout for your achievements: show your unlocks as a clean wall of icons instead of a list. Fully customizable — icon size, shape (square, rounded or circle) and borders — to match your overlay's style.
v2.5.02026-06-12
Your Twitch stream category now updates automatically to match the game detected by your tracker — switch games on your console and your channel follows along. Enable it in the new “Category” tab of the Twitch workspace.
v2.4.12026-06-06
Public recaps are now reachable from the Showcase page — on a live streamer's card, the “Recap” button opens their latest session. A new way to discover how others play.
Refreshed homepage that better highlights the latest features: the Companion app (near-instant Steam unlocks), the per-element customization studio, and public recap pages.
Discord dashboard page aligned with the Twitch page: a more compact layout, with settings grouped into a single workbench and tabbed navigation.
v2.4.02026-06-03
Public recap pages redesigned with a cinematic look and automatic game cover art (IGDB) — profile and sessions, available to everyone.
Richer session recap: unlock pace, a clickable timeline linking to the VOD moments, and achievement rarity.
Twitch dashboard reorganised into a cleaner, more compact settings panel.
v2.3.22026-05-27
Improved Xbox game detection — your recent games list now relies on your Xbox title history (far more reliable than the old activity feed), shows the game you're currently playing first with its achievement progress, and no longer includes PC/Steam games with no Xbox achievements that sometimes showed up by mistake.
Xbox fix — locked achievements weren't always told apart from unlocked ones (Xbox returns a dummy date for achievements you haven't earned), which could break new-unlock detection and their recording in your session stats. Xbox achievement notifications (overlay, Twitch chat, clips) and achievement tracking in your session history now work correctly again.
Twitch message delay — you can now postpone an achievement announcement in chat (from 5 to 30s) so it lands after your viewers have seen it on screen, compensating for the stream broadcast delay. Configure it in Dashboard → Twitch.
Referral codes — on top of the link, every affiliate now has a short code to share where links are blocked (Twitch chat, descriptions…). Your referrals can enter it at signup, from onboarding or the Account page. The affiliate dashboard also shows each referral's conversion date.
OBS optimization — trackers placed in scenes hidden at OBS startup no longer open a needless realtime connection. Only the tracker actually visible on screen talks to the server, reducing load and improving responsiveness (especially on Steam).
v2.3.12026-05-25
Classic theme — the “No achievement earned” message (shown only when the current game has no unlocked achievement) is now customizable: change its text or hide it entirely from the “Latest unlocked label” element in the Workbench.
Feedback emails — replies and ticket notifications now preserve the rich-text formatting (paragraphs, lists, links) and inline images you wrote in the editor, instead of plain text.
Username check — when you save a tracker, your player ID (Steam, Xbox, PlayStation or RetroAchievements) is now verified: if there's a typo, a message appears right under the field so you never end up with an empty tracker.
Affiliate program — you now earn recurring commissions on your referrals. As long as a referral stays subscribed (monthly or annual), you get paid on every renewal, not just once. Lifetime purchases remain a one-time commission.
Redesigned affiliate dashboard — for each referral, track the number of payments, the total earned and an estimate of your monthly recurring revenue.
v2.3.02026-05-19
New StreamTrackr Companion app for Steam (Windows) — a small app that runs on your PC and detects your Steam achievements almost instantly, instead of waiting for Steam's API to refresh (~1 min 30s). When the Companion is active we also stop polling Steam, so Twitch, Discord and the OBS overlay react faster. Download it from Dashboard → Companion.
Dedicated Twitch bot account — connect a second Twitch account so your achievement messages in chat are posted by a bot rather than from your streamer account. Configure it in Dashboard → Twitch.
Workbench (customization studio) — now accessible directly from the home page without sign-up, and made mobile-friendly: the toolbars no longer overlap on small screens and the tracker preview scales properly.
Complete overhaul of the feedback system — rich-text editor for your descriptions and replies (bold, italic, lists, links, quotes, code), image attachments via drag-and-drop, Ctrl+V or a dedicated button, with a full-screen lightbox on click and a thumbnail in the ticket list. For bug reports, new structured fields (affected tracker, platform, game, in-game username) with auto-fill from the selected tracker — so we can reproduce the issue faster. Redesigned modal: wider, with clickable category pills and a larger writing area.
Miscellaneous fixes — Steam game picker order (the game you just launched now shows up first), auto-detect trackers stuck on the loading screen (MinimalBar, Stack, Headline…), Google/Twitch sign-in always landing back on the dashboard, progress percentage not refreshing when switching tracker layout mid-stream, and game title overflowing on very long names.
v2.2.02026-05-09
New per-element customization studio — click any part of your tracker (badge, progress bar, text, image, container) to open a dedicated panel and tweak its typography, colors, size, spacing and visibility. Live preview, no CSS needed.
14 brand-new ready-to-use tracker designs — BigNumber, Codex, CompactStats, Console, DualFeed, Focus, Headline, HuntList, MinimalBar, Postcard, QuestLog, Scoreboard, Stack and TrophyHero. Pick one in a click from the editor, and each template stays 100% customizable.
Reworked theme library (Pro) — save your favorite colors as a reusable theme, then duplicate, rename or delete. The old free-form editor is replaced by 6 clear layouts (classic, compact, centered, banner, minimal, bubble) and a streamlined color customizer.
Brand-new Account page — Dashboard → Account brings your subscription, profile, API keys, avatar and Pro status together in one place. No more jumping between screens to manage your account.
Per-platform usernames remembered — your Steam, PSN, Xbox and RetroAchievements usernames are saved on your profile. When creating a tracker, the username and game list are filled in automatically based on the chosen platform, and switching platforms swaps to the matching username. No more retyping.
Component mode for OBS — new `/t//component` URL that renders only the tracker, with no page chrome at all. Perfect for embedding into a more complex OBS scene or an existing streamer layout without dealing with the rest of the page.
Redesigned “Copy link” button — richer panel with a visual tracker preview, color codes, OBS-recommended sizes, a direct link to the public page and a Pro save shortcut.
Even faster PSN trophy detection — Pro polling frequency moves from 20 to 15 seconds, further reducing the lag between a trophy pop and the automatic Twitch clip.
Complete social export overhaul — 5 ready-to-post formats (Landscape 1200×630, Twitter/X 16:9, Portrait 4:5, Square 1:1, Story/Reel 9:16) so you never get format blocks on Insta, TikTok or Twitter again.
One-click multi-format download — select several formats at once and get every visual in a single batch, without replaying the capture for each aspect ratio.
New "Highlight trophy" mode — show a single achievement at full size instead of the session summary, with auto-pick of the rarest one and a Platinum / Gold / Ultra Rare badge depending on the platform.
Custom theme for your exports — color pickers for the background gradient and accent color, plus a light/dark mode toggle, on top of the 5 preset themes (Midnight, Abyss, Frost, Sunset, Neon).
Pick your background image — game boxart (with a picker: cover, artworks, screenshots sourced from IGDB, up to a dozen visuals per game), highlighted trophy icon, or upload your own.
Advanced background controls — opacity, dark overlay, blur and vertical positioning sliders to fine-tune the look and keep text readable on any image.
Automatic compression for custom backgrounds — server-side WebP re-encoding at quality 82 and 2400px max resize. Typically -70% to -85% size reduction to keep cloud storage in check.
Tailored home page when you're logged in — a welcome message with your name and direct shortcuts to the editor and your trackers, instead of the full form aimed at new visitors.
Simplified home form for anonymous visitors — advanced design options now live in the dashboard editor only, so the landing focuses on the basics: pick a platform, see your tracker.
Safer tracker links — new links are 16 characters instead of 8, and a warning shows when copying them so you don't accidentally display the URL on stream.
Xbox connection working again — a change on Microsoft's side was silently breaking gamertag search and achievement detection. Everything's back.
Much faster Xbox lookups — the first search still takes ~2s, but follow-up searches are near-instant thanks to internal caching.
Xbox achievement images in the right shape — Xbox icons are natively 16:9 and were being stretched into a square. They now keep their original ratio (classic layout only).
v2.1.0Coming soonUpcoming
Official StreamTrackr Twitch Extension in the works — show your achievement progress directly on your Twitch channel (panel + video overlay), configure your tracker right from the Twitch dashboard, and stay in sync with your StreamTrackr account in real time. Currently going through Twitch review.
v2.0.112026-04-30
New Streams page (Twitch → Streams) with per-achievement VOD markers. Every stream session is enriched with your Twitch VOD info and a clickable marker for each unlocked achievement — generate precise highlights from the Creator Dashboard, without the 30-second auto-clip limit. Pro feature.
More reliable achievement count on the Stats page — long stream sessions with many unlocks sometimes showed a truncated total. The counter now reflects 100% of recorded achievements, regardless of stream length.
v2.0.102026-04-28
1-click PSN connection — no more copy-pasting your NPSSO from Sony's page. Drag a bookmark to your bar, click it, you're connected. Available in Account → API Keys.
Twitch VOD marker on every achievement unlock — drops a marker on your VOD on every trophy so you can generate a precise highlight from the Creator Dashboard later, without the 30-second clip limit. Enable it in Twitch → Smart Highlight.
More accurate automatic Twitch clip — capture delay default goes from 5 to 0 seconds, so the unlock moment lands inside Twitch's 30s capture window more reliably.
Faster PSN trophy detection — Pro polling frequency drops from 20 to 15 seconds, narrowing the gap between the trophy pop and the automatic Twitch clip.
Clearer warning about Twitch clip timing in the dashboard — explains why a clip can miss a trophy pop depending on the platform and how the VOD marker compensates.
v2.0.92026-04-26
Fixed PS3/PS4 trackers showing the wrong game. Sony's title resolution endpoint silently ignored its filter and always returned your most recently played title regardless of which game was actually launched. Trackers now resolve PS4 titles correctly and switch games as expected.
Fixed cross-platform PS5/PSPC titles displaying 0/0 trophies instead of real progression.
PSN game dropdown now lists your full trophy catalog. Older games (especially PS3) were silently truncated past the 100th entry, preventing manual selection.
Clearer error message when a PSN profile cannot be found. Distinguishes between a typo and a private profile, with the exact path to switch your PSN profile to public.
PSN auto-detect warning now explains the two known limits up front: PS3 games can't be auto-detected (Sony API), and PS4/PS5 games may briefly show 0/0 until the first trophy is unlocked.
New tracker fonts: Kanit, Bebas Neue, Rubik, Orbitron, Russo One, Teko.
